FORM FOR DAYLIGHTING CARMAX’s narrow floor plate maximizes the exterior wall to floor area allowing greater interior daylighting. An elongated shape orientated in the east-west direction exposes the longer and south sides for controlled daylighting, high ceilings and exterior glass allowed for greater interior daylight penetration.
